Nyborg anno 2028 - an open window of possibilities

Nyborg Castle faces a new and important phase when the castle reopens. This is an opportunity not only to look at the castle project itself, but also to the potential that the reopening can create for you as an operator or company and for Nyborg as a municipality, destination and commercial city.

At the meeting, we will discuss how we can best unlock the potential of the castle project and how we can use the reopening as a basis for new opportunities and stronger connections.

The day will include, among other things, discussions of:

• What opportunities does the castle project open for Nyborg?
• What areas and stakes can you work on during the period leading up to and after the opening?
• How can we create a connection between the castle, the city centre, the catchment area, the harbour, trade, culture, tourism, nature and urban life?
• Where do the most important potentials lie, and what should we work with into a strategic action plan that both you and we can work on?

The meeting takes the form of a future workshop where different perspectives and ideas are brought into play.

The aim is to create a common ground for further work and to point out the efforts that each of us can work on now.

The aim is to create a network across industries in Nyborg Municipality that can work together to make Nyborg a great place to live and experience - both in everyday life, for events and for tourists.

Therefore, we regularly organize networking events where you both meet others who are involved in the experience economy, and where you are also expected to contribute your knowledge and commitment, as an active part of Nyborg's experience network. The network will thus also be shaped by the inputs and dialogue that arise in relation to the “Strategic Urban Development Programme” for Nyborg”. But it will always be up to you, to actively grab the balls and engage in the dialogue and development and make it a living in your business.
