Guided trip to Sprogø and Nyborg
Sprogø: A Historical Island with a Unique Past Embark on a captivating journey to Sprogø, one of Denmark's most intriguing small islands. Steeped in history, Sprogø has served as a fortress, a haven for preserved nature, and a home to a group of "unruly girls." Its connection to Nyborg is both historical and geographical, linked by the Great Belt Bridge. To conclude this exceptional excursion, we'll embark on a guided walking tour through Nyborg's historic center, culminating with a visit to the remarkable 17th-century Borgmestergården. Experience Sprogø on foot with VisitNyborg's guided tours. Practical Information: Restrooms are not available on Sprogø. Our exploration takes place entirely outdoors on Sprogø, excluding access to the Pigehjemmet (Girls' Home). Participants must be able to walk as the tours are not suitable for those with mobility impairments. Mountain bike day pass for Æbleskoven trails
Go for a mountain bike ride in Æbleskoven A medium-difficulty singletrack with high intensity, flow, drops and a very steep descent. The challenges are here, but can still be mastered by most people if they are in good shape. Read more about the trail here. The trail is a fee-paying trail operated by Nyborg Cykle Klub. It costs 25 DKK for a day pass. Can be paid with MobilePay 43470 directly on site or purchased here, where payment can be made by credit and debit card. The day pass must be shown on request, either as a printout or via a mobile phone. If you want to ride Æblesporet more often, you can buy an annual license through Nyborg Cykle Klub. Then you get a license tag to put on your handlebars. Please contact VisitNyborg for questions regarding the purchase of day passes. Please understand that Nyborg Cykle Klub is a club with limited contact options.

*Welcome to Nyborg. * In October, Nyborg Municipality took over the new Health House, and now the citizens of the municipality have the opportunity to come in and see and hear more about the house and its function. How to book a ticket The tour, which is offered to citizens of Nyborg Municipality. All new citizens receive an invitation via digital mail, and registration for the tour takes place here on the site. Only the dates on which seats are available are active in the calendar. Welcome to Nyborg - bus trip for newcomers
Welcome to Nyborg Municipality! We are delighted to welcome you and your family to our community. To help you get acquainted with the area, we invite you to join us on a bus tour around the municipality. How to Book a Ticket The welcome tour is a bus tour offered to new residents of Nyborg Municipality. All new residents will receive an invitation via digital mail, and registration for the tour can be done here on this page. Only dates with available seats are active in the calendar. Tours are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have any further questions about the tours, please contact Susanne at the Nyborg Municipal Secretariat by email sun@nyborg.dk or phone +45 6333 6805. Practical Information The new resident tours will run on the following dates: Saturday, June 15th, 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM Saturday, November 23rd, 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM Meeting Place: In front of VisitNyborg, Torvet 2B, 5800 Nyborg (in front of Nyborg City Hall). Nearest parking and public toilet: Nørrevoldgade 9 near the City Hall. On the tours, it is possible to bring a rollator on the bus (however, you must be able to get on the bus yourself via the bus steps), and it is possible to stay on the bus for the entire tour. There is an elevator at Nyborg City Hall upon arrival at the council chamber. If you are unable to attend, please let us know so that others can have a place on the tour.
