Sprogø and Nyborg are closely connected - both historically and via the Great Belt connection. That's why we end our trip to Sprogø with a city walk in the historic centre of Nyborg and a visit to the historic Borgmestergården from the beginning of the 17th century. Networking meeting for trade and experience actorsby VisitNyborg
If you are a participant in tourism, events, culture, commerce and experiences in Nyborg Municipality, come and join the common network. Today's inspiration is about how we jointly become a great place to visit - how we become even better hosts. Today's special guest is Charlotte Emmery, guide, lecturer, author and director, Nordic Guide Academy. Charlotte tells us in an inspiring way how we give the guest or customer that little extra that makes them remember us — and come back. This regardless of whether we say “customers” or “guests” in everyday life, about those who enter through our doors. With the hosting compass, you get a concrete tool to target efforts in everyday life and build a culture of presence and authenticity. The essay is based on the book “You don't sing at a university — a handbook on hosting” and combines humor, professionalism and personal experiences. Hosting is brought to eye level — and the meeting is about how we can inspire each other to elevate the guest experience together. How we can make Nyborg a vibrant city and municipality that you visit again and again. *The meeting is part of the town centre cooperation in the future city centres of Funen, and is thus co-financed by the European Union. * *Program for the networking meeting: * Welcome - we pick up the thread from previous meetings and get a status. Presentation by Charlotte Emmery. Networking and knowledge sharing Joint round-up — next networking meeting. *Practical information: * Date: Thursday 29 January 2026 Time: 8 a.m. to no later than 9:30 a.m. Location: Nyborg City Hall, Torvet 1, Canteen on the 2nd floor Registration: here on the page - *important: everyone who signs up agrees to share their name, company and email address with the other network participants. * *What then after and between meetings: * The aim is to create a network across industries in Nyborg Municipality that can work with each other to create experiences that make Nyborg a great place to experience - both in everyday life, for events and for tourists. Therefore, we regularly organize networking events where you both meet others who are involved in the experience economy, and where you are also expected to contribute your knowledge and commitment, as an active part of Nyborg's new experience network. Thus, the network will also be shaped by the inputs and dialogue that arise in relation to the strategic development tracks presented at the first meeting. But it will always be up to you, to actively grab the balls and engage in the dialogue and development and make it a living in your business.
